Stanford University, one of the world's most prestigious universities, is located halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. How long is the walking tour of the university?
The Stanford University tour is a great way for first-time visitors and tourists to explore the highlights of the beautiful Palo Alto campus. The tour lasts about 70 minutes and covers the central campus, including The Main Quad, Memorial Church, Engineering Quad, and White Plaza (Bookstore, Old Union, and Tresidder Memorial Union). Stanford also offers a golf cart tour, as well as the Humanities and Arts Tour describing academic and cultural programs and the new Arts District.
Do we have to make a reservation for Group Tours?
Spend an hour with a student guide exploring Stanford’s beautiful and historic campus. Reservations are not required for groups of 8 or less for the Campus Walking Tour. If you have a group of 9 or more, from school teams to community groups. you can make reservations in advance here. The fee is $75 for group of 9 – 20 and $95 for groups up to 50 people.
